2 Crows Brewing from Halifax, Nova Scotia . Named after the line in the nursery rhyme One for Sorrow :

One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret,
Never to be told.
Eight for a wish,
Nine for a kiss,
Ten for a bird,
You must not miss.

Congratulations to 2 Crows for being the first craft brewery on a coast, to ship to the other coast (Propeller doesn’t count, not good). Personally, I’d rate them in the top 5 of Canada right now and they’ve only been open since January of 2017. Watch out Ontario and Alberta, and maybe even the U.S.

You may be thinking of Old Yale. They did a collaberation beer/mead. Yesterday I found 4 varieties. It’s like the Superflux of Halifax, but they have they’re own beautiful space , a nd they make beers other than IPAs, a nd they don’t charge $ 20 for a 4-pack. And they have an old world twist. Grab ‘em.
